Francesca Tassinari - Soprano - W Print

Francesca Tassinari started studying music at a very young age, in 1998 she joined the Children's Choir of the Fraschini Opera House in Pavia and kept working there until 2001. During this 3 years, she performed in The Little Sweep by B. Britten, Yuzuru by D. Ikuma, La Bohème by G. Puccini and Tom Thumb by H. W. Henze.

She has won the competition for the “Centre de Perfeccionament Plácido Domingo” in Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía afterwards she attended the Alberto Zedda Rossini Accademy in Pesaro.  Mrs Tassinari is now specializing under the guidance of Raina Kabaiwanska in Modena.

In September 2010 she won the prize for Young Opera Singers in the European Contest “La Città Sonora”; she was also selected for the project "LTL Opera Studio” in Pisa, thanks to which she had the chance to perform in several Italian theaters (Pisa, Lucca and Livorno) acting Louise in Le Convenienze ed Inconvenienze Teatrali by G. Donizetti. In March 2012 she won the “66th European competition for opera singers” organized by “Teatro Lirico Sperimentale A. Belli” in Spoleto; moreover, she was finalist at the International Competition "Giuseppina Corbelli".  Francesca Tassinari won also the First Prize in the contest “Voci della Belle Epoque” (Forlì) and most recently she won at the "Toti Dal Monte Competition" (2018) the role of Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro, which she will sing during the next season in Treviso, Jesi and Ferrara.

In the past seasons she made her debut as Juno in Calisto by F. Cavalli; she played the role of Eugenia in ll Filosofo di Campagna by B. Galuppi (under the baton of F. M. Bressan and directed by S. Vizioli); and then Fanny in La Cambiale di Matrimonio in Udine and Pordenone in the frame of “Piccolo Festival del Friuli”; Madama Vezzosa in La Favola dei tre Gobbi by L. Ciampi, Grilletta in Grilletta and Porsugnacco by G. M. Orlandini and Despina in Così fan tutte in Spoleto; Antonia in Olympia.2000, opera conducted and created by R. Molinelli (directed by L. Parrella), performed in Luciano Pavarotti Opera House in Modena and at the Dante Alighieri Opera House in Ravenna; Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro (conducted by M. J. Wildner and directed by M.Spada) and Frasquita in Carmen (conducted by M. A. Battistoni and directed by D. Livermore) in Carlo Felice Opera House in Genoa.   Afterwards she was again Frasquita in Carmen at Marialisa De Carolis Opera House in Sassari (directed by A. Cigni and conducted by B. Bayl); Vagaus in Vivaldi's Juditha Triumphans in Valencia (conducted by F. M. Sardelli and directed by D. Livermore); Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro in Lucerne (Umberto Finazzi-Marco Gandini); Lady Stannox in Il labbro della Lady by C. Galante ( Boccadoro-Panighini) in Modena; Valencienne in The Merry Widow by Lehar (Pirolli-Sgarbi) in Pergolesi Spontini Opera House in Jesi.

Most recently she sang: Musetta in La Bohème (Palleschi-Bongiovanni) in the most important theaters of Japan including the Bunka Kaikan in Tokyo; Zerlina in Don Giovanni in Paphos Aphrodite Festival in Cyprous;  Angelica in Notte per me luminosa by M.Betta in Modena and in Savona; Corinna in Il Viaggio a Reims at the Rossini Opera Festival (Spotti-Sagi); Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi in Modena, Piacenza and Reggio Emilia; Lisette in La Rondine in Genoa (Acquaviva,Casellati-Gallione).
